My name is Kimberly but a lot call me Kim. I'm a mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, niece, aunt, and cousin. I'm a junior in college majoring in computer science, I hope to continue my career in the computer world when I do complete college. I love to bowl, I've been bowling for 10 years it's another one of my hobbies besides computers. *I won youth female bowler of the year in 2008* I love my family and friends and always enjoy getting to know new people !

Blogs vs Wikis

A blog is a freestyle way of expressing oneself on the web. People can express their opinions, share information and advertise for free. Most blogs are oriented towards one focus group, wikis however are meant for the general public and are usually used to disburse information.
  Convergence is important in this day and age networking information can be shared from anywhere. This makes all forms of business and our personal lives quicker and more efficient.
 Blogs can be used for collaboration in many ways one example would be a business team working collaboratively on a project. They could leave posts on the blog sharing information and keeping the other team members updated on their progress.
  If I was to create a wiki of my own I would make one about phones. I would keep people updated about the different types of phones. Also, the different specifications and promotions. Of course, there might already be one made already but that is what I would create.
